Ninilchik Angler Wins the homer winter king
salmon tournament
The 15th Annual Winter King Tournament was held
on Sunday, March 23, 2008, postponed one day due to
poor weather conditions. Sunday proved to be a great
day on Kachemak Bay for 793 angles and 236 boats,
especially for John Forster of Ninilchik, who landed
the biggest salmon while fishing on the "Blood
Vessel". Pictured above is the beautiful salmon
that came in second place caught by Ryan Ensminger
of Fairbanks.
